Call My Roofer is an AI call-answering service for roofing contractors, operated as a sole proprietorship. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Call My Roofer.
1. What We Collect
When you connect your Google account, we access your Google Calendar data (events, free/busy information) solely to check your availability and book appointments on your behalf. We also collect your name, phone number, email address, business name, call recordings, SMS content, appointment data, and a secure authentication token to maintain your calendar connection.
2. How We Use Your Data & Purpose of SMS Messages
Your calendar data is used exclusively to:
- Determine your available time slots when a customer calls
- Book appointments on your Google Calendar
- Display your schedule information to you on your dashboard
We collect and use mobile phone numbers to send SMS messages for operational purposes (appointment confirmations, call summaries, service notifications) only after explicit consent.
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers strictly for service delivery. We do not send promotional or marketing messages without explicit opt-in consent.
3. SMS Messaging Consent & Opt-Out
Opt-In Process: During account setup on www.call-my-roofer.com/start, you are asked to provide your mobile phone number and check a consent box explicitly agreeing to receive SMS messages from Call My Roofer (operated by Call My Roofer). No SMS messages are sent without this explicit opt-in.
Types of Messages: After opting in, you may receive the following SMS messages from Call My Roofer:
- Appointment confirmations — when a customer books an inspection through our AI assistant
- Lead alerts — when a new potential customer calls and leaves their information
- Storm notifications — severe weather alerts relevant to your service area
- Service updates — important account or operational notifications
All messages are transactional and directly related to the service you signed up for. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service activity (typically 1–10 messages per week).
Opt-Out: To stop receiving SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages. To get help, reply HELP or email us at thisisaman408@gmail.com.
Supported Carriers: Messages are sent via Twilio and are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others.
4. Data Storage, Security, & Retention
Your authentication credentials are stored securely in our database with encryption. Call logs, transcripts, and operational communication logs may be retained for operational and quality purposes for up to 12 months unless deletion is requested. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Data may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
5. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following services:
- Google Calendar API – to read and write calendar events
- Supabase – for secure data storage and authentication
- Twilio & Retell AI – We use third-party communications platforms, including Twilio and Retell AI, to process voice and deliver SMS messages.
6. Your Rights
You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time by revoking access through your Google Account permissions. You may also request deletion of all your data by contacting us.
